Graphic Choice - Before and After
Rationale
This is a part of the PBIS Expectation Poster system we use at my school. I chose this poster to remake because I did not think the mix of real life photos and clipart graphics were a good choice together. I also did not like the arrangement of the before image photos with the picture on the bottom row all alone. To make this poster more visually appealing and to ensure the photos had more coherence, I made a few small adjustments. The first thing I did was to remove the clipart graphic at the top right, of the students in the library, and replace it with the Maryville logo. This added a more balanced feel to the poster. I then changed the title color from black to something more closely relating to our school. From here I replaced the two clipart graphics in the poster content itself with two real-life photos I found online. Lastly, I changed the layout of the photos themselves so that there would not be one sitting all alone anymore. I feel that these few small changes helped to make this poster more appealing and child-friendly.
